Talc Poses Nude
I am thrilled with this doll's posing. Before putting clothes on her I wanted to photograph her nude to show how well she can be manipulated. I'm still a little afraid that I'm going to break her. I've never had a doll that posed like this - ever!
These are exquisite photos of her, Terri. I love how you captured her, and the colors of her face.
She is quite sturdy compared to the earlier Sybarites, so enjoy her. Be care when standing her with/without stand though. A fall on a table or to the floor can cause some damage. I am always careful to have the table on the rug in case she tips...so far it has happened and no damage!
While she may be more posseable than her predecessors, among BJD bodies she has one of the ugliest set of joints of any other doll. It is great that you photographed her nude to show just what a hodgepodge of joints her body is made up of. Why don't you take some pictures comparing her body to say one of your JS dolls so we can see the difference in bodies. And her closed palm hands are very unexpressive I must say.

They are actually not as delicate as they appear. :) The poses they can hold is just short of amazing. I especially love how the new body can "sit on her heels." I love their lifelike quality.
I think she's gorgeous and I actually like the look of her joints, coming from a BJD world, I'm used to seeing joints, especially in my Fairyland girls. Congrats on your first Sybarite!
I'm glad you shot her nude. I have seen photos of the syb nude before but usually they are just standing and don't give much of an idea of how the doll actually looks when really well staged. Will C. only anonymous because I still can't figure out how to use the profile menu.
