This week's theme on Prego is 'Dolls with Short Hair or an Updo.' So many gorgeous illustrations of this theme have been posted.

Angela in Canada's gals blew my mind. While I'm not a fan of all the Deva female sculpts, I can certainly appreciate the beauty of the face-ups, the unbelievable wigs and the gorgeous fashions. These dolls are perfection. Angela's portrait photography has captured these models in all their glory!

Rejected! Or What To Do With A Fist Hand

Finally, it makes sense.

He's proposing to Brunel.

She has rejected him and he's pissed.

Now he can keep the fist for a while.

Deva Doll Angelo

Deva Angelo is gorgeous.  He arrived today as did the Chewin outfit I had purchased a few weeks ago. That was a nice coincidence.
Angelo is a 16" resin BJD with a great body. His stringing is a bit looser than I'm used to but he stands well on his own Deva stand.  I have to get a few wigs for him but in the meanwhile, I love him just the way he is.  His face was painted by Chewin, a master painter and clothier.
These are cell phone pix. I wanted to share him right away. He will get plenty of time in my studio soon.

I have to admit that Angelo is the priciest doll I've ever acquired and I had to sell a couple of items to cover him and the other goodies that are on their way. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Just four months in to 2014 and it's time to put the brakes on!

My posting has slowed a bit (life gets in the way of dolls) but I'm still browsing the doll boards and this photo wowed me.

Making Beautiful Dolls Even More Beautiful!

James Mitchell who goes by the board name of James/FL does it.

A collector posted a picture of his Ultimate Tyler BJD repainted by James and I couldn't believe that she could be even more gorgeous than she was originally.

Today James posted a picture of a his new Deva Doll Aspara repaint.

Look at those eyes, those lips...Wow!
