Jamieshow Violet ReStyled

I bought this Madame Alexander fashion (on a doll) specifically because I knew it would be beautiful on my new Violet. The shoes do not fit but the dress fits beautifully. The Ilaria wig was made for Sybarites. I am very happy that it fits the Jamieshow head.
Violet is stunning as a blonde!

J'Adore Gene got Violet's lavender gown.

  1. I absolutely love the design, colors and patterns of this dress! It looks exquisite on your doll! May I be too bold and inquire which MA it came off of?

    1. Festiva Paris is the doll who came with the dress. I had to purchase a NRFB one as I have not found this outfit separately in the more than 3 years I've been hunting for one. Matilda Dolls has the best price for the NRFB.

  3. Not disappointed about choosing Violet over Madra. She has a sultry sweetness that Integrity couldn't capture (possible exception Special Scene and Sunset Serenade Violet). This dress was made for her. As a blonde, she can be Beyonce- short raven wig, Dorothy Dandridge. Beautifully executed doll.

    1. Thank you, Steve. She's just Violet. Beyonce and Dorothy can have their day. My Violet is herself.

  4. on the lower line [my budget] another doll that really appealed to me with her outfit is the Tonner Sam I am, she just pops.

    1. Yes, that certainly is a colorful line of dolls.

  5. Buying the White Orchids Gene was my first foray into the higher end of the taller fashion dolls (branching out from Barbies only a few months ago). These dolls are lovely and enjoyable to "play" with, but spending $200 more than Gene seemed excessive. If it had at the same price point or slightly above, I would have purchased her (and possibly Madra). Seeing your pictures, though, almost makes me wish I had taken the plunge!

    1. I believe that she and Madra were priced very high. As I said in a recent post, I will not be buying these dolls again due to the high price and lack of complete ensembles and/or accessories. For a little more money I can purchase Sybarites and Ficon dolls.
