Up until now I have allowed 99% of all posts to be published but there is a troll who is going from post to post making remarks that do not contribute anything worthwhile to doll collectors. If you can identify yourself and wish to disparage a doll or a company, it is up to you to take responsibility for your remarks. If you wish to make hateful statements about a certain company's dolls and are afraid to post your name, you don't exist as far as I am concerned. Go back under your rock and knock your pusillanimous self out.
News, reviews and photographs of Modern Fashion Dolls including Kingdom Doll, Fashion Royalty, Sybarite, Tonner Doll, Gene Marshall, Barbie and my own experiences as a doll collector.

Off With Their Heads!
Are you here to see the Queen? Only I can behold her.
Do not look in her eyes.
She is bored and pissed.
She will have your head.
I warned you.

Poesie Vanessa for $1997. ????
Someone has posted a NRFB Poesie Sans Couleur Vanessa for 1450 Euros OBO on the Show & Sell pages. Either the person is nuts or I've been in hibernation. When did the asking price for a NRFB more than double?
If you are not familiar with this Fashion Royalty doll she was the first of three Atelier dolls and a limited edition of 500. She was a 2005 FDQ exclusive and sold for $189. I remember seeing her picture in the magazine and I didn't particularly care for her. That was before I started collecting FR. I thought the price was outrageous for a doll. Who knew?
These are the promotional photos of the doll.
The presentation of the doll is extraordinarily beautiful as were all the Atelier giftsets. I purchased mine in 2007 for the ridiculously expensive price of $450. I never regretted it. Her body was the first articulated type and of course she was transferred to a tall body when they became available.
Some early pictures of my Poesie:
I rarely play with her anymore because her hair is too easy to mess up and requires care to keep its curls neat. Gorgeous, isn't she?

Spamming the Blogosphere - Showcase Photos
I feel like I'm spamming my own blog with all the posting but it's been a crazy doll inundation for two weeks and I have a lot to catch up with. I've rearranged most of my display of 12" dolls in the last month and redressed many. For the first time I have arranged groupings of dolls dressed in similar colors as opposed to similar characters.
Perhaps in a few days, I will begin to take studio photos instead of pointing and shooting with the toy camera.
Here are a few display case shots I took yesterday.
The yellow capri set on Glow Vanessa (far right) was the only outfit I kept from the Point of Departure Eugenia giftset. It doesn't fit all that well but I like it anyway. Metal Maven Vanessa is wearing La Boutique and Disclosure is wearing Randall Craig. All carry La Boutique POM handbags.
Night Warrior Vanessa wears Optic Verve's gown. AFL Platinum looks amazing in everything and now even better on her new FR2 body. She is wearing Randall Craig. Onyx Veronique looks awful in this picture. She's wearing Natalia Shape Shifter's black dress.
I knew the minute I saw Ayumi's outfit that my Brilliance Monogram doll was going to get it. The gorgeous Paradise Veronique on the left is wearing a custom silk beaded bustier by Mio and Sound Advice Adele's skirt.
One of my OOAK Vanessas looks stunning in Fauxnessa Monaco's ensemble.
I must have this Shirred Not Shaken Vanessa repainted, rerooted or both one day. Something about her eyes bothers me no matter how I dress her or style her hair. However, her Thai gown is simply fabulous.
Midnight in Monaco Veronique shines in Vivid Impact Agnes' ensemble. I added the fur. I think the thing I put around her neck is supposed to be a tiara but it didn't work out that way.
My rerooted Chic Escape Veronique fills out FR2 Most Wanted Vanessa's gown quite well. It fits the full bust much better and I have a feeling it was intended for a full busted doll in the first place.
My new Most Wanted FR2 Elise.
Wu Convention 2010 Workshop Eugenia wearing Mauve Absolue gown and Franklin Mint jewelry.
Rerooted Buena Sera Kyori wearing boots from Mission Control Imogen and skirt from Style Counsel Adele.
Silver Society Veronique wearing Randall Craig carrying POM.
Rerooted Cruise Control Vanessa wears Josephine Baker's La Joie de Paris gown.

Tonner Posts Left Over Convention Dolls
As I suspected would happen too soon after the event, Tonner Doll has acted in a lightning fast mode and posted the leftover convention products.
You've seen all the other dolls already but one doll that may be a surprise is this resin bjd Sydney called Sydney does Halloween. She is a limited edition of only 50 pieces and is listed at $510. How many would you like to order?
She is quite beautiful but the netting over her face and hair kept the convention goers from seeing what she looked like. On the last day someone pushed the net up off her eyes.
Another doll I did not post about is called Black Flame. The unique thing about this doll is that she comes with two pairs of hands. The black ones are resin and clutch the candelabra. She comes with another pair that match her vinyl. $210.
This is Cinderella aka "Unhappily Ever After." Apparently the professional photographer was afraid of the Queen of the Zombies so he never got around to taking her picture. $185.
It was noted that the salt and pepper shakers are not included. Drats!
If you need the Halloween Totes, email me. I have two; I'll make you a good deal and a nice sandwich.

Rear Window Grace Kelly Doll
Just a heads-up for the Grace Kelly line fans. Rear Window went live today on the BC.Com site. She is the last doll in the four doll line. Apparently it is a pre-order as the site says that it won't be available until 12/8/11 but they are taking orders. She is $34.95 and shipping is still only $1. no matter how small or large your order.
As I previously stated, I just want the dress so if someone wants to split the doll/dress with me, let me know.
