Now you can shop and pay directly on-line!

I picked photos from several of the many categories of items sold for illustration. There is so much to choose from.

I want this! :-)

The Avant Guard Makeover

Through the years my attitude toward having dolls repainted has changed. At first I resisted thinking that I wouldn't even buy a doll if she needed to be altered. What a difference having a doll repainted can make. I loved the changes so much that I re-bodied these gals as well.

Left:  IT outfit; Ficon sneakers; Monique Wig; Superdoll Glasses
Right: Nigel Chia suit; Patta wig; Jamieshow shoes

The doll on the left above, was originally "Lush," a sculpt also used by Androgyny and other AGs.

I had the green eye shadow changed the lips darkened. I love her now.

Fashion: Modsdoll Aurum
Fashion: Integrity Toys for FR16; Superdoll Wig

The doll with the blonde wig at the top of the page was originally either "Attention" or "On Edge." They all used the same open mouth sculpt along with my favorite, "Goldmine."

Below is the original "Goldmine."

My "Goldmine" had yellowed and deteriorated and Vin recreated a new one for me.

The FR16 bodies can wear Kingdom Doll, many Gene and most Tonner Antoinette fashions along with the original Avantguard fashions, of course. Their wig size is generally a 4/5.  That also depends upon the wig.

It's unfortunate that Integrity Toys ruined the line by using messed-up face-ups with exaggerated colors and weird outfits. They were beautiful sculpts. Like they've done with other dolls, the bodies could have been upgraded to a more stable design. The Tulabelle and FR16 sculpts never came close.

Repaints by Vin Trapani.

New Sybarite: BARONNE

I was surprised this morning to get an email picturing this lovely doll and the enticing word SHOP just beckoning for my little finger to click upon. I did and it didn't take long for me to make the decision to purchase this lovely gal. I love her fashion and I am also a big fan of short hair.

All photos in this blog post are the property and product of Superdoll.
Here is the complete text from Superdoll's promotional:

BARONNE SYB/DD_0125
Venus is fabulous as could be in her green raffia, vine and embroidered silky rose headpiece and print on print daytime ensemble, but just guessing by her mood....
She probably not paying attention to anyone other than herself today!

From the top. A gorgeous headpiece of raffia sprouts symmetrically from leaves and a large green rose.. Delicately balancing just so atop her head...
Her gorgeous short platinum and pure black wig is modern yet glamorous and hugging her jawline... fabulous!
Her eyeshadows in the spectrum of rose and violets surround her eyes of translucent lemon and lime with lids of icy yellow.. Lips of rich coral.
Her 1 piece frock; a confection in printed satin overlaid in the mirror print tulle, a custom print reminiscent of rolling Bougainvillea over a Mediterranean balconette, bearing vines on the bodice... just screaming sundowners on the terrace.
It is always fun to spend a late afternoon among your best friends , but Venus giggled, and of course is having none of that as she sipped on a tall cold drink.
Always accessorised to the nines, Venus has a cute metallic handbag trimmed in metallic studs and raffia, a wide wrap belt in green matching raffia that knots around her waist 'just so', and gorgeously delicate green gladiator sandals that stop just short of her knee.
Hot Pink tulle gloves trimmed in matching pink raffia fringing are her final accessory!

Venus has no intention of doing anything other than lounging in the sunset this evening...
Could someone please hand her, her sunglasses?

Clone: 1000 Venus d'Royce
Skintone: COSMETIQUE

Of course she comes with the following standard accessories:
-manic_cure hands (see booklet for hand change instructions)
-booklet
-stand

PRODUCTION MAY VARY FROM PROTOTYPE SHOWN.
In stock and ready to be delivered
Price: £269.75 (Excluding VAT at 20%)

2017 W Club Second Doll is Announced

METAMORPHOSIS

The second W Club doll this season is Nu Face Erin. Erin has come a long way from her early looks. I was a big fan.

The modern Erin appears older and more sophisticated. One wouldn't know it was the same character as the sculpt has changed to an open mouth and the nose was narrowed. She looks stunning, below with her dark hair pulled back. Her rich vinyl "Hungarian" tone is perfect for this incarnation.

The gown is lovely but not something we haven't seen over and over again in different colors. The white top and shorts are admittedly edgy but I must admit that I don't get the train thing with the jeans shorts. It looks pretty in the photo; however, if I were to purchase this doll, I'd be looking for something other than shorts or maybe not. Hmmmm....

She could run out to the grocery store and sweep the aisles looking edgy as hell.  She could go clubbing and trip everyone on the dance floor—a good way to meet people. What gala event could she attend in this fashion? How about the Met Gala? Maybe if the shorts were sheer...

I want the shoes.

Erin Salston makes a noted cameo on the runway of designer Jessy Ayala as she models two fresh looks from the 2017 Heirloom collection! Light and breezy, everyone's favorite heiress looks absolutely stunning in these couture creations, designed just for her. By incorporating one of her most cherished family heirlooms, the Salston butterfly crown (handed down amongst the women of her family since Victorian times), our bad girl completely transformed these picturesque works of art and made them truly her own! With her new, delightful, ultra-feminine looks, Erin emerges from her cocoon and soars high like the most beautiful creations of nature!

Erin Salston is a 12.5-inch fully articulated fashion doll with simple, yet ultra-sophisticated fully rooted, long braided hair that can be transformed into many hot looks! This sensational gift set includes an intricately layered custom printed chiffon gown and a second outfit composed of a one-sleeved white satin top that features an extravagant floor-length train, coupled with unexpected, ultra-edgy denim micro-shorts. The set also includes Erin's precious golden butterfly crown, jewelry and two pairs of shoes. For adult collectors ages 15 and up only. This doll cannot stand alone; a doll stand is included. A W Club members-only exclusive.

Note: Please note that the doll, clothes and accessories pictured in the photo are prototypes and as always, final production colors and textures may vary slightly.

IFDC "Never Predictable" Doll

One of the three Integrity Toys' dolls at this year's IFDC was "Never Predictable." I purchased her on an impulse as I love that long curly haired style and the gown looked pretty.

I was not disappointed with the fashion. It's not what I would call great but it is made very well and fits beautifully. I don't love the color. The accessories were matching shoes with fiddly string ties that I had to tape to the back of her legs, panties, a chunky gold metal bangle and boring earrings and a ring. There were full-length gloves as well which I didn't even try to put on as I don't have the patience for gloves like that.

I don't like the sculpt at all. She's very hard-looking. Her face looks all angled and pointy to me. Her sculpt is called Adaline King and I think she must have been one of the color infusion faces. Why would they do that for a convention companion doll?

So, I will try to sell her head.

I have redressed an older Vanessa in the fashion and I am pleased. She is holding her hand up because I had to put a touch of glue on the back of the finger wearing the ring. I do that with all my dolls who wear rings. The glue comes off with no residue and I don't lose rings.
