Who's That Vanessa?

Aerodynamic Vanessa - the original - had surprising black lips and beautiful red hair pulled back into a straight pony tail.

I freed her hair and crimped it.


Then I had her repainted.
And then I bought another one who had been rerooted.

She was not a popular doll at first. Now all the original Vanessas are sought after.  Who is your favorite?

    Oooh- a gothic Vanessa. I totally would want her- I think she looks kinda neat with black lips and crimped red hair :D

    I like the looks of High Tide Vanessa with her outrageous bang- (but the outfit is terrible).

    Her lips are Black? I always thought they were a blue-black (sort of harshly cozying up to her soft blue shadow. I loved her look. I never owned her, but a friend gave me her's to repaint the lips. I played with her as she was - until the painting happened. Then we broke up. Playtime was over. LOL

      Sometimes they look blue-black. Today they look black.

      Thanks. I braided her hair and dunked it in boiled water for about 30-60 seconds. Let it dry before unbraiding.

    I love the airbrushed makeup on this edition. The raven haired version is fantastic. The lips are not my favorite, but it works for her look.
