Integrity Toy's Recent RTB (Right to buy) Lottery

Demonic Strings
Kumi Dressed Doll
(Image property Nu.Face/Integrity Toys)

Entry for the lottery ended on January 20, 2025; however today is the first time I was able to take a look at this offering designed by Jesse Ayala.
I'll get right down to my first impression. It was WTF is she wearing?
It looks as if the designer threw everything at her that he possibly could fit. Including HORNS  for evil sake.
If that doll were here, I'd toss her everything except the coat and boots.

Now for the close-ups. The photography is excellent. Everything can be seen clearly. Please click on each photo to enlarge.

What is going on here?

I suppose that this was intended to be released for Halloween but shipping from China is unpredictable. That can't be right because the expected shipping date is Spring 2025. I just don't know what Jesse was going for here.
I do love her hairstyle and colors of same.
Kumi  has always been a pretty doll. She's been used in some of the highly successful NuFantasy releases.

The Wild Wolf Kumi  2008

Snow White Kumi

The sculpt is classified as Eden/Lillith and has been used many times in the NuFace line.

Here are some of my own photos of the Eden/Lillith sculpt on different dolls from the past.

Superdoll Collectables "Forever_Fir" OUTFIT ONLY

 Dear Collectors:

I would definitely buy this fashion if I weren't spending a fortune fixing and fixing up our new (old) house.

I'm on a temporary doll diet. Eww. I hate it.

Anyway, I love this fashion and the colors and the Empire stye. The embellishments are stunning and the jewelry is so fun.

Here is a reproduction of the advertised copy.

The Holiday season is on a roll and Venus is tonight going to turn on the village lights.

For this she needed a showstopper and knowing Venus, she found a copper star headpiece a great start.

She wears this with a red leg and dark navy long point stiletto heeled courts.

She knew she would be accompanied by a GIFT WRAPPED box but she had not imagined she would be carrying it up the staircase as she headed to the switch on the wall.

She took a minute  to look at her reflection and admire her gorgeous 'Empire' line gown of Fir green and metallic gold shot chiffon lame overlaid in what could only be referred to as a scattering of mixed jewel delights...  accentuated only by the irregular hemline of her gown which rises in front and trains to the back and the cutest little under-bust bow.

She set her face to resting b*tch turned to the audience and flipped the switch.

The rest is a Celebration!

SHANTOMMO'S Dolls Fashion Newsletter 4

JUNE 2024
Here’s to more years of bringing style and imagination to every doll wardrobe!
This time, we created just one exclusive look. We hope you cherish this addition to our collection.

Thank YOU!

Regards,
Ryan

__________

If I were still collecting Fashion Royalty dolls, I'd be all over this outfit. I'm so tempted but since we moved, I vowed to reduce my 12" collection, not buy more. Sigh.

Kyori's dark hair and deep red lips keep the jacket from swallowing her looks. The accessory jewelry looks wonderful.

I'm all in with the oversized display collar and tucked in waist. The long sleeves are right with the rest of the jacket. I'm wondering what the fabric is.

Yes, it is a gorgeous look however; I'd love to see less of the fishtail skirts. Can you picture the difference an above the knee skirt would make?  I held my hand over the bottom of the skirt to visualize it. It would have been amazing to have an extra skirt to expand this fashion. I am not saying that this fashion is lacking but for this doll collector, nothing is ever enough.

The price was only $95.  And now it is sold out. It's no surprise it went so quickly.

Lacie Churchill Debut Collection

( I don't understand the used of the word DEBUT because Lacie has been in production since 2022)

Lacie's back story:

Lacie Churchill has been the Head of Domestic Production for the International Movie Studio "MoMax" for the past 3 years. Her many talents have been noticed by everyone and she was just asked to become the new CEO of "MoMax". Her adventures await - parties, award shows, corporate meetings and tending to the stars that "MoMax" uses for their many productions.  ("MoMax" seriously?)

Lacie is Tonner's latest creation. She is 16" and uses the new RTB102 body (see below)

BOLD STATEMENT  $265

Rooted Hair

STAR GAZING  $235

Rooted Hair

LACIE CHURCHILL BASIC  $150

Wigged Hair

When I first saw this new sculpt, I thought Tiny Kitty and Simone Rouge. Look at the 2nd picture. If you know Tiny Kitty dolls, you will know what I mean. This is a good thing as I was not fond of the original Lacie or RTB101. This body looks slimmer and more proportioned. I still think Lacie's lower lip should be more defined like Simone Rouge's as seen in my photo below.

Simone Rouge by me.

Don't Ever Move With a Doll Collection

The move and 3 months later.

We survived. This house is smaller than the last as we intended but the property is about 4 times larger. Possibly a mistake there because Bob can't do as much as he used to.

The huge basement scares me. There are 4 "rooms." The windows are awful. Dust comes in. It's a very old house. That's enough about the house. We love the area. I love looking out the windows and seeing trees. That is a joy.

The doll room. OMG. First of all, I wasn't physically well for two months. That seriously sucked! Can you imagine that I have two new Kingdom Dolls that are still in their boxes? There will probably be three more before the end of September.

I have begun unpacking my Tonner dolls. After all these years, I still love Tyler and Co. Many will go in the doll cabinet I have placed in our dining room.  I packed most of them dressed or partly dressed which was a big time saver and they looked too beautiful to change.

The following photos are from the first few days we lived here. It's better now but not much.

All the moving boxes are unpacked now. I'm still trying to figure out how and where to locate the small and medium cases. My Ikea showcases are mostly along one wall but I'm thinking of moving them. Of course I am. Are we ever finished rearranging our doll rooms?

I made what I thought was a little video but when I tried to upload it, the app told me it exceeded permitted size. I'll try again.  I'm not familiar with converting video clips to stills or with making the file sizes smaller on videos. I'm sure there is an app on my Mac to do it but I have never gone there.

More, soon.

We're Moving!

How to Manage These 4 Common Moving Day Mistakes

Finally, after so many years of wanting to move, we found a house in the area I wanted to be in.

The dolls and their clothing and accessories are packed.

That was a nightmare.

If you want me to reserve something for you until I unpack fully,

(in April) please let me know.

Barbie by American Girl Collector Doll

A soft cotton body with poly stuffing? She can serve as a voodoo doll. Maybe........

Barbie by American Girl Collector Doll

Celebrate an icon with this stunning collector doll, inspired by the Barbie doll that started it all in 1959: No. 1 Barbie. Glimmering with 455 Swarovski® crystals to recreate her iconic black-and-white swimsuit, this limited-edition* doll is part of the American Girl Collector Series, available at Mattel Creations and AmericanGirl.com. • An 18” doll with crystal blue eyes that open and close, featuring black winged eyeliner and blue eyeshadow.
  • Her black-and-white striped bathing suit features 455 black and clear Swarovski® crystals – the most on an American Girl Collector doll to date.
  • Barbie doll’s signature blonde hair is styled in a topknot ponytail with curled bangs, and she has bright red lips with nails to match.
  • She has a soft cotton body with poly stuffing, and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl.
  • The doll also includes an authentic replica wrist tag, white cat-eye sunglasses with blue lenses, golden hoop earrings, and shiny black peep-toe shoes.

Cute but I'm tired of seeing this striped bathing suit. At this point in my collecting, I want the WOW factor and the "I need one of those in my collection" feeling.

Voodoo doll is not included. That is satire.

All of the above photographs are the property of Mattel, except the voodoo doll.

"Poolside Paramour" Sergio Silva Fashion Figure by Integrity Toys

 Remember this?

“Cool sophistication in breezy Palm Beach! Sporting a dashing jacquard-patterned jacket with a light pink polo shirt and crisp white pants, Ken doll is ready for Palm Beach social season, sunning by the pool and a stroll with his little companion.

“Fashion designed exclusively for the Silkstone Barbie doll body. Includes Ken doll, jacket, pink polo shirt, white shoes, dog with leash, swim trunks and accessories, doll stand and certificate of authenticity. For the adult collector. Order yours today!

“On sale April 2010. Only $81.99!”

Well, it was canceled by Mattel. Why?  Rumor had it that some uppity "conservative moral majority" people got their panties up in their behinds over his name. Was he gay? Oh, my dog.

"Mattel said the doll's name was in reference to Ken's pet -- Sugar, a white West Highland terrier that Ken leads on a pink leash. The dog is included with the doll, along with several accessories, including sandals, sunglasses and swim trunks.

Asked about the possibility that the doll's name may be misinterpreted, a Mattel spokeswoman wasn't fazed.

"At the end of the day, this collection is targeted toward adults," said spokeswoman Michelle Chidoni. "While the name of the doll does refer back to the dog, I think people are going to interpret it as they want to interpret it."

It's now 2013 and Integrity Toys comes through, sans dog, with "Poolside Paramour." One cannot ignore the similarity. He is the one 12" male doll I've bought in 4 years.

BUT I just had to change something. The most important thing was missing. Now it's much better.

From the Virtual Doll Convention: "How Doll Collecting Makes Your Life Better"

Virtual Doll Convention puts out a ton of reading material and video content. Today I was looking through their posts and came across this article dated February 24, 2023.

So, just in case you didn't know already, doll collecting makes your life better! Here are some of the ways it does so.

We are ALL about doll collecting here at Virtual Doll Convention. Expanding our knowledge, creating communities, and enjoying the hobby is where we thrive. And chances are that if you are reading this, you might feel the same.

The thrill of the hunt: Doll collecting can be a fun and exciting hobby because it involves searching for rare or unique dolls to add to your collection. This can include scouring antique stores, flea markets, and online marketplaces to find the perfect addition to your collection. Click the video to shop at the Flea with Rachel, Allison, and Paul. It was so much fun!

Learning about history and culture: Collecting dolls can also be a great way to learn about different cultures and historical periods. Many dolls are made to represent specific ethnic groups or time periods, and researching the background of your dolls can be a fun and engaging way to learn about different parts of the world and different eras of history

Creative expression: Doll collecting can be an excellent outlet for creativity, as collectors can style and display their dolls in various ways. This can involve creating custom outfits and accessories, setting up displays and dioramas, or even creating their own stories and scenarios for their dolls.

Connection with other collectors: Collecting dolls can also provide an opportunity to connect with other collectors who share your passion. This can involve attending doll shows and conventions, joining online forums and social media groups, or even hosting your own events to share your collection with others.

Nostalgia and sentimentality: For many collectors, dolls hold sentimental value because they represent a connection to childhood memories or special moments in their lives. Collecting dolls can be a way to reconnect with those memories and hold onto something special from the past.

Sense of accomplishment: Collecting dolls can also provide a sense of accomplishment as collectors work towards completing a collection, finding rare or unique dolls, or restoring damaged dolls to their original condition. This sense of accomplishment can boost self-esteem and provide a sense of pride in one's collection. Can you remember a time when you felt accomplished in your doll hobby?

Overall, doll collecting is a hobby that can bring joy and fulfillment to collectors of all ages and backgrounds. Whether collecting for nostalgia, aesthetics, historical or cultural significance, or as an investment, the beauty and intricacy of dolls make them a timeless and cherished collectible.
