The outfits are adorable. That little yellow suit with the black accents is so stylish! I love it. My least favorite is the blue and ivory brocade cocktail dress  (Night at the Ballet) only because I don't like the style. It reminds me of something Gene Marshall would wear in the 1950's. The other one that doesn't appeal to me is the black and white "C'est Si Bon" dress. It looks awkward and poorly designed.
I love "Powder Puff." It's so fluffy, pouffy and pretty. Miss Amour's gown, although we've seen this gown here and there, is delightful. They're both perfect for pretty little Poppy. It's the way I like to dress my dolls.

A friend send me an email earlier saying that she thinks I'll be getting the doll with the "poodle." That's no poodle. These are poodles.

That black thing looks like a drowned giant rat. Several companies including Mattel made great poodles through the years.

Poppy collectors will be over the moon with this collection IMO. I think there is a doll here for everyone!

  1. I love that fluffy pink monstrosity! The blue "Powder Puff" is probably my least favorite, but it appears to be JUST as popular as the Amour doll, so I'll probably have to enter if only to get a doll to swap for the pink one ...

I will agree that compared to the dogs above, the one Integrity found looks a bit bedraggled. I'm not sure it is supposed to be a poddle though- maybe a terrier? Hard to say... I did really like some of the accessories in this lot! Especially the little perfume bottle (I know, not exactly hard to find) and the little case Bonjour Mademoiselle carries. I really liked the brocade for Night at the Ballet. That dress looks like a perfect one to modify for my RED. I hope I can offload the nude doll to someone, she does seem to be the least popular (although hopefully that is just the dress).

  2. Love your poodle comment... I'll look out for real toy poodles... And chihuahuas...

  3. Fantastic collection for sure. Every now and then IT gets it right 100% and this is one of those moments so let's relish in it.

I wondered why they kept calling the dog a poodle. If anything it looks like a schnauzer. Are you actually getting any at all or are you no longer a Poppy collector?
