Kinsman Doll Preview

Here's a first look at the two upcoming 17" resin BJDs from the artists at Kingdom Doll. Kinsman Doll is a separate entity; however, they will compete for your dolly dollars from what I can see.

Meet Garrick and Booth

Garrick has that haunting and intense Heathcliff vibe

Booth knocks me out. I will have him. Hahaha.

I do not know how much they will cost or when they will be for sale but I do know that they will be highly coveted.

  1. Hmmmm......they are beautiful! I wish Kingdom/Kinsman would show profile shots. It is so good to see "adult" male dolls at this scale and with good detailing. The "boy" dolls often look very immature and/or too.....too pretty. Some of the repainted Matts look like they have more MAC on them then Tyler, Sydney and a years worth of Sybs combined.
The big hair thing is kinda past so they may want to lose the wigs.
As always love the blog....and glad to see you posting more again, I missed your reviews and comments.

Still don't know how to do the profile thing.

    1. Hi Will: You can be sure that Alex and Amanda will post many more photos of the men as they get closer to the final production. As far as Tonner's male dolls - I'm a big fan of most of them. He is the only manufacturer of 17" male dolls, many of them quite good looking. Although they're not resin, they have filled a huge gap in the modern fashion doll world. When I think back to the ones I should have bought...several come to mind...Lee Scoresby, Legolas Greenleaf, Laurent, Damon Salvatore and I wouldn't mind another Jeremy Vos.
Sorry this response is so long. I think I could just have a separate male doll collection!
Thank you for your continuing readership and comments.
