Street Smart Misaki Doll

Promotional Photos by Integrity Toys

Street Smart Misaki's edition size will be determined by how many orders they get. The MSRP is $190 + S&H. For W Club members, the special price is $175 +   S&H and Tariffs (If any.)

Pre-Order deposits are due by today! 7/22/26 I have no idea if there is a grace period. Ultimately ordering will be opened to the public at the higher price.

Here is what's included:

  • 12-inch Misaki doll with rooted hair and face "piercings" (cheek “piercings” are applied with adhesive and do not pierce through the doll’s face; nose ring is inserted in/through the nose);
  • Super cool red plaid jacket with graphic patches and 3/4 sleeves;
  • Matching red plaid mini skirt;
  • Red and black striped knit long-sleeved body suit;
  • Black textured pantyhose;
  • Tall black platform combat boots;
  • Oversized black bag with dripping bunny graphic and chain detail;
  • Textured black hip belt with chain detail;
  • Separate black studded waist belt;
  • Black studded thigh belt;
  • Black choker with drop ring;
  • Spiked hoop earrings;
  • Black skull ring;
  • Black tube rings;
  • Pair of long-manicured hands
  • Alternate pair of grip hands;
  • Doll stand;
  • Certificate of authenticity.

She's cute but I tend to prefer glamour and/or a really different look most of the time.
I think the price has been kept to a reasonable amount considering the history of Misaki prices which were always higher than standard line dolls.

I like her boots and her hair and that's not enough to make me want to purchase her. I'd like a worn hard motorcycle jacket, a white lace skirt and a tight t-shirt with safety pins scattered all over. She's too forced and matchy for punk.

Metrodolls Luncheon at the William Penn Inn

 This past Sunday (7/19/26) Metrodolls held a lovely buffet luncheon at the William Penn Inn in PA. I love that place. The food is always delicious and they didn't disappoint. There were so many options in the buffet, I was very surprised and pleased.

There were vendors, helper items and bargains galore.

I purchased a bunch of miniature books, a Tonner doll, Carol Barrie. She was very inexpensive because she needs a new body but her face and wig are perfect.

I picked up this Gene "Incognito" dress and scarf for $10. It's so pretty. It's not like I really needed it but someone mentioned that these bargains are not for the people who NEED things. I agree.

Marcia Friend did an interesting and educational presentation of doll designer fashions. Her presentation included two long tables displaying dolls dressed in the fashions and a slide show. Everyone enjoyed it.

"The Flasher" by Jason Wu The Nymphia Wind Collection

The Flasher finally arrived this afternoon after a wait of nearly 5 months! She is prettier than I expected. I'm dying to de-box her but from now on, all "By Jason Wu" dolls are staying boxed.

Here's the original manufacturer/designer description of The Flasher:

This is how you make an entrance! The Flasher wears a look with a flirtatious reveal - consisting of a form-fitting yellow bodysuit with integrated high-heel soles, creating a sleek, elongated silhouette. Over it, she is wrapped in a knee-grazing yellow trench coat lined in matching charmeuse, finished with a banana-pattern print. Her unforgettable jet black beehive is adorned with five pairs of sunglasses, all wrapped in a perfect yellow headscarf.

1/6 scale (12") articulated fashion doll body with 16 points of articulation, enabling a vast range of dynamic poses. From her refined facial contours to her striking eye makeup paired with rooted, curled eyelashes, it perfectly recreates the signature makeup artistry that Ms. Wind is celebrated for in the industry.

Accessories Include: 5 pairs of sunglasses (worn in the hair), yellow metal sunglasses, banana-shaped handbag

Doll stand, three sets of hands (yellow and skin color) and numbered certificate of authenticity are included.

Below is the first version of her which was called "Banana Extravaganza."  I didn't warm up to her. There was something about her face.

"Brief Encounter" Clever Name for a New Monarch Fashion Figure by Alain Tremblay

A Brief Encounter, Francisco Leon Fashion Figure

They are calling this doll "Integrity Toys Close-ups" I wonder if that's a new name for a basic doll.

  • 12.5-inch articulated fashion figure with blushed nipples and fully rooted hair;
  • Sexy black swim briefs with string tie at the waist;
  • Pair of ultra-soft tone-on-tone underwear briefs;
  • Pair of pool slides with grip soles;
  • Black gradient aviator sunglasses;
  • Chain necklace with black cloisonné accent;
  • Pair of hands;
  • Figure stand;
  • Certificate of authenticity.

(It's smart to include grip soles on the pool slides. We wouldn't want him to slip on a wet surface.)

He is being sold via "right-to-buy" lottery to W Club members for $99.00 plus S&H and tariff.
After the sales period for the W Club, remaining dolls will be made available to the public.
Edition of 800.

Francisco is a good-looking figure. I like his hair but I'm not a fan of the facial hair screened on like that.

The Flasher - Nymphia Wind Doll by Jason Wu.........I WANT THE DOLLS!!!

I ordered the second Atomic Lab release, The Flasher, back in February 2026 and I still have not received notification of shipping.  Their site does say she would ship before July 1. That's pretty soon.

I received their first doll, Nymphia Wind, in an appropriate amount of time after I ordered her.

In the meanwhile, Atomic Lab has apparently released two more (beautiful) dolls. I never received notification of them either and they seem to be sold out!!!! I probably would have ordered them, too.

One can only hope that they are listed as Sold Out because they are not ready for pre-ordering.

The costumes and their faces are amazing.

C'mon Jason...

I've been a fan since you looked like a teenager. I want the dolls.

UPDATE: A message was sent out regarding shipping of The Flasher. There will be another delay, it noted. WTH? This is not a good sign at all.

  • Alternate pair of grip hands;
  • Pair of articulated ankle lower legs;

  • Two doll stands;
  • Certificate of authenticity.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Prototypes shown, the final product may vary. Background and props are not included. This collectible is meant for adult collectors ages 15 and up only.

When, initially I saw the picture of the two girls together, I thought high school. As I looked further, they started looking a bit older - but not by much. In comparing the fashions, Reese's outfit seems old-fashioned and not as trendy as Ellery's. I'm not a fan of the longish plaid pleated skirt with a T-shirt tucked in.  The hip belt, boots and jacket pump it up a bit but not by much. If I had that doll, she'd never wear that skirt and probably wouldn't wear that t-shirt either. If there was a bra top that matched the panties, that would be cute.

Do young people over the age of 6 or 7 wear sweaters that say 'PRETTY' and t-shirts that say 'IT GIRL'? They are like something a parent would buy for an elementary school child, IMO.

In any event, the Pride ornaments are cute and it's satisfying to see Pride being celebrated with dolls.

Integrity Toys' Dealers - Not Happy

 I recently spoke with a long time Integrity Toys' dealer who was at wit's end. He had gotten about 100 calls and texts from collectors regarding the dolls that were announced by Integrity but he had not gotten information about who or what his allocation would be. That is an impossible situation for a dealer and for a collector.

Today, another longtime, highly respected dealer terminated his dealership. This dealer is Rudi Palma Teruel.

He wrote:

Am so very sorry to say but after thinking over this situation - we have decided to not go through with it.
We have decided to Cancel our dealership as it just means more headaches and breaking hearts than anything.
It breaks my heart that the situation never improved for us as a dealer, and after almost a couple of years not getting any allocations for anything, things seem to have gotten worse. Even sadder for me personally, as we have been a part of IT since even before the FR dolls and if you trace back the history, we even got the first ever Dealer Exclusive dolls.
Am sorry it has come to this…. but it is what it is - and we just have to do it this way for our Peace of Mind, too!
Thank you all for supporting us in the past and for your continued support for other doll lines we offer.

I remember the days when dealers would practically sell their first born for an Integrity dealership.

Is this the result of the mess the current USA administration's war games have caused? It sounds as if it's been going on for years.  We can only surmise that it is a combination of factors out of everyone's control. After all, IT wants to sell their product. If they don't have product, the effects are felt down the line.

Azure Archer A New Fashion BJD from Mazarine

Azure Archer

 My newest fashion doll sculpture, Haesoo is coming as Azure Archer.

Like my former doll Dazzling Darjeeing which was inspired by oriental pottery tea cup with Red tea in it,
I was inspired by oriental things especially traditional Korean things.
The major inspiration for this new doll was Netflix K-drama 'Kingdom' of which background is Chosun period of Korea.
It's about a prince who fights with Zombies. Naturally they are wearing 'Hanbok', Korean traditional costumes.
It's very new to us, People in Hanbok are fighting with Zombies.
I loved how they were shooting arrows in Hanbok.
So I wanted to make a Korean archer in Hanbok-inspired dress. The coat is based on Hanbok Dopo(???), but I remade it as more modern one.
It has more modern shapes and pockets. but the separated sleeves are very traditional.
And Korean dopo doesn't have the pattern on it, but I chose this beautiful fabric for more feminine look.
Under the coat, she's wearing more western white dress. Chosun people loved white clothes, so they used to be called as 'People of white(??????)'.
So its white dress is very like Korean, but its shape is western thing. So mixed them together.
With coat, Haesoo is more Korean, but without coat, she looks more western. She is also wearing a Gat, which is a kind of Korean traditional hats.
Chosun people were wearing so many kinds of hats and sometimes they showed their social positions.
So western people saw it interesting and they called Chosun 'a country of hats'.
Gat is one of the best known Korean traditional hats. I was fascinated by an archer in a gat in the drama. so it was basically begging of the inspiration.
Her hair is more western style. I was inspired by Elves that are described as archers in many medias.
And Haesoo also has bow, arrows and arrow carrier in oriental pottery shape. Haesoo is a beautiful archer.
So Haesoo is a little bit traditional, bit fantasy and bit modern. When I finished this prototype,
I couldn??t release this because of other projects like exhibition things, and during that time, Netflix released an animantion K-pop Demon Hunters,
which reminded me of this doll. With korean traditional stuffs with modern things in fantasy. It was very interesting.
Anyway Haesoo is my new hero, whose main weapon is bow. She's brave and graceful.

Includes:
'Tinker's Dust' skin tone Resin
24 Points of Articulations
17" tall body
Hand painted face with applied eyelash
Fully blushed body, hands and feet (Much stronger material used)
2 pairs of extra hands

Barbie To Be Celebrated With New Stamps

WASHINGTON, May 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Postal Service today announced a new release coming this summer: a set of Barbie stamps featuring Barbie dolls through the years, dressed for 10 iconic careers.

These designs are preliminary and may change.

Created by Mattel Inc., a global play and family entertainment company, and introduced in 1959 as "The Original Teenage Fashion Model," Barbie quickly became an icon and symbol of limitless possibilities for generations of children. During more than 65 years as a staple of imaginative childhood play, the best-selling doll of all time has represented more than 250 careers.

From surgeon to astronaut, paleontologist to soccer player, sign language teacher to music star, Barbie fans can dream big and explore a huge range of possibilities.

Ethel Kessler, an art director for USPS, collaborated with Mattel on the design of the stamps and pane. To best showcase the dolls and their career attire, the stamps employ a rarely used format, a third taller than the usual vertical commemorative stamp. Kessler says the team approached the project "with a spirit of fun," using bright, energetic shades — predominantly the famous "Barbie Pink" — to evoke a feeling of joy.

Barbie commemorative stamps will be released on July 11, during the 2026 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention in Austin, TX. As Forever stamps, they will always be equal in value to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce price.
