The first two Monoglam dolls are still available. I've not seen this in a while - dolls not selling out. Are people waiting for a sale, hurting for funds or do they just not like the dolls enough to shell out the bucks? Perhaps the hats, which will be offered as a separate package of four, should have been included.

So far, the only purchase from this line I've made is the set of 5 pastel colored jeans. That offering sold out quickly.
Here is my new Syb repaint (Yian) trying to decide which ones to wear. Poor girl. She hasn't been in my photo studio yet and doesn't even have a top to wear.

ReplyDeleteThat doesn't apply to Voltaire, whose sculpt is just fantastic, naturalistic and one of the most photogenic; I like her as a blonde too, so I think I'll get her.
DeleteOn the contrary, Venus clones and such with garish make-up are terrible and very t-girl looking, in the worst sense of the term.

I am waiting for the hats. I cant afford the dolls, but my tonner gals will love them some new fine hats!
ReplyDeleteIMHO, the facial expressions on these dolls are way too severe and "haute" to pull off these lacy pastel fashions. The fashions are more suited to a doll like Tiny Kitty or Poppy Parker! That might be why the dolls aren't appealing to collectors.
