I recently spoke with a long time Integrity Toys' dealer who was at wit's end. He had gotten about 100 calls and texts from collectors regarding the dolls that were announced by Integrity but he had not gotten information about who or what his allocation would be. That is an impossible situation for a dealer and for a collector.
Today, another longtime, highly respected dealer terminated his dealership. This dealer is Rudi Palma Teruel.
He wrote:
Am so very sorry to say but after thinking over this situation - we have decided to not go through with it.We have decided to Cancel our dealership as it just means more headaches and breaking hearts than anything. It breaks my heart that the situation never improved for us as a dealer, and after almost a couple of years not getting any allocations for anything, things seem to have gotten worse. Even sadder for me personally, as we have been a part of IT since even before the FR dolls and if you trace back the history, we even got the first ever Dealer Exclusive dolls.Am sorry it has come to this…. but it is what it is - and we just have to do it this way for our Peace of Mind, too!Thank you all for supporting us in the past and for your continued support for other doll lines we offer.
I remember the days when dealers would practically sell their first born for an Integrity dealership.
Is this the result of the mess the current USA administration's war games have caused? It sounds as if it's been going on for years. We can only surmise that it is a combination of factors out of everyone's control. After all, IT wants to sell their product. If they don't have product, the effects are felt down the line.
