Zombie Boy NOW AVAILABLE
Zombie Boy is now available on the Tonner Direct website. Ships worldwide. $159.99
The Zombie Boy (he certainly is unique) doll looks spectacular, but I don't really have a need for him. He'd probably scare off my family members! I'm also wondering if they were planning to market the Lady Gaga dolls to children. I hope not, they sound disturbing.
He's cool but the sculpt is obviously different than the promo shots.
He virtually has no lip definition now and the 'shadowy' rendering of the face painting looks very contrived now...not as soft and realistic as those promos we've been viewing for the past four weeks.
I dont think I could have something that disturbing in my display cabinets tho - my collection is all about beauty and classic fashions. I have superheroes and pop-culture too - but he wont fit in. He is well done - but just not for my collecting tastes. :)
I ordered mine.. now all we need is a 16" Gaga doll! Done properly. Not "inspired by". I can't accept that. I'm sick of Inspired, Badly By... Zombie is perfection!
Decals are quite noticeable, hand painted details negligible. The very nature of the character requires more hand painting. Admittedly not that expensive...and looks it.
