Integrity Toys' ITBE and Jem Dolls Revealed

Five new ITBE dolls were revealed to W Club members on Friday morning June 26. Each will be available by lottery only. The winners will pay $99. each plus shipping.
Each doll is an edition of between 310-375 and will ship upon receipt of payment.
They have the first generation FR2 body, the Monogram body or the NuFace 1.0 body.
As for the fashions, we've seen them all before in other colors.

From left to right they are:

"Night"
Limited Edition Size of 375 Dolls
Head Sculpt: Minx
Body Type:  Monogram
Skin Tone: FR White
Hair Color: Black
(The dress is very unflattering.  Shorten it and put on some chunky jewelry to bring the volume up from her knees to her neckline. I'd cut her hair, too. Too much trouble. She's a mess.)

"Rare Jewel"
Limited Edition Size of 315 Dolls
Head Sculpt: Rayna
Body Type:  Nu.Face 1.0
Skin Tone: Dark A-Tone
Hair Color: Black
(Not only is her dress a repeat, her name is as well.)

"Flawless Impact"
Limited Edition Size of 325 Dolls
Head Sculpt: Dania
Body Type:  Nu.Face 1.0
Skin Tone: Dark A-Tone
Hair Color: Black
(My favorite.)

"Ignite"
Limited Edition Size of 310 Dolls
Head Sculpt: Janay 3.0
Body Type:  FR2 (First Generation)
Skin Tone: Cream
Hair Color: Cherry Brown
(I want her shoes.)

"Media Sensation"
Limited Edition Size of 320 Dolls
Head Sculpt: Alysa 3.0
Body Type:  FR2 (First Generation)
Skin Tone: Cream
Hair Color: Red
(Anyone getting this doll wanting to get rid of the body...contact me.

  1. Am I the only one who doesn't "get" the appeal of the Jem dolls? I was alive during the '80s and, as much as I thought they were cool at the time, feel that the fashions do not bear repeating.

    1. I don't get it either, especially since they all seem to have truly horrible hair.

    2. I think you probably have to have been a Jem fan to "get" the Jem line. It is pretty amazing as someone who grew up obsessed with the cartoon to see how faithfully they've turned the cartoon fashions into fashion dolls. ESPECIALLY when compared with the Hasbro Jem dolls, who had lovely box art but truly were not lovely dolls at ALL. The Integrity line in comparison is stunning- like the dolls we* (and by that I mean Jem gals and boys) wanted in the 80s but never got. I guess it's a silly reason for collecting dolls but what really is a better reason?

  2. I do think that Anthony Julian is pretty attractive.

  3. I entered the lottery for Rare Jewel and Flawless Impact. I've been contemplating entering for Ignite as I do love the Janay sculpt but I'm not sure. I'm not too fond of any of the dresses to be honest but I do think the dolls are gorgeous! I am kind of over IT's sheath dresses. They should be put on hold for a while, especially ones in shiny fabric. I'd love Media Sensation's dress if it was done as a proper tuxedo dress in a nice fabric with a contrasting white lapel.

  4. The ITBE line is good, but not great. The standout for me is Flawless Impact. Her darker skin tone makes her different enough from Nyasha to try for; I think they would look great together. The sleekness of Rare Jewel is attractive, and Night is okay but he eyebrows may be overdone. Again we have two dolls with the same hair style (Ignite and Media Sensation), in this case rolled bangs. Is it too much to ask for dolls with completely different styles in a five-doll line? We just saw that with Jacqueline in the recent CI release. The dresses are just okay, with Flawless Impact's being my favorite. It seems like they are picking up on the Barbie "Shine" line, which I'm not particularly taken with.

I'm not a Jem collector, though I've been thinking of getting a Jem just to have one if a deal comes my way. I don't want to offend anyone, but the outfits and the hair make them too costume-y for me. Anthony, on the other hand, was a definite buy for me. His look is more classic, and he has the FR Homme body. He should be quite versatile.

  5. I admit it. I'm a HUGE Jem fan. But, my taste has always been questionable. And, the dolls excite me, but I think it's based PURELY on nostalgia and a love for the cartoon. I'm not a fan of 80s fashions. I wasn't a fan of 80s fashions IN the 80s either! But, I appreciate that the outfits have been completely replicated exactly for the line. I LOVE the fact that they're doing a bunch of characters from the cartoon. The dolls are beautiful. Check out those faces! The fashions? Tacky 80s fashions. Cheap looking? Sure. Overpriced? Heck, yeah!!! Especially for such simple designs. And, as always, Terri --- THANKS for always getting the news of new dolls out quickly.

    1. Your taste has always been questionable? LOL

    2. LOL! Yes, my friends talk about my bad taste in music. They also talk about my liking the Catwoman movie because Halle Berry fought in heels - when I knew it was a bad movie. I love Barbie because of some weird childhood fascination, when the Integrity dolls clearly know fashion SO much better. So, I like a lot of things for the wrong reasons. Jem may be one of them. :-)

    3. Who cares what they think of your taste? They like you, I guess. Haha. Anyway, did you see the new Jurassic Park movie? The heroine runs away from dinosaurs in heels. Seriously!
