Nigel Chia's "DeMuse Doll"
The LE 5 debut DeMuse doll may be sold out but you can check Nigel Chia's website for a fascinating selection of photographs of the creation of the doll and more.
Yes fascinating.Especially the photo with the shackled sled dog AGs and FR16s being led by their lightly modified recasted overlord.Add a Deva to the team and you have the complete gene pool.It does show the identical weird dent area at the shoulder as the AG torso quite well though if you take off your rose colored glasses its quite striking.Im sure this will be very profitable for him.
I think the DeMuse doll's face is absolutelly stunning!! Sadly I can't see the photo gallery on the ithings, because it is in flash. I will ty to see the photos tomorrow. She is gorgeous, and she should photograph beautifully *sigh* by the way... What was her price tag??
No not bitter far from bitter actually.More angry that someone can take other small companies and artists hard work, modify and recast it and make bank doing it and noone blinks an eye.If this doll were examined logically it really isnt hard to see it is an assemblage of several recasted parts. The so-called progress pics are end stage pictures that dont show any sculpting at all I could spray some dissasembled doll parts and have the same pics to show. Its a bootleg.Im not talking about inspired by or similar in style to or the same type of joint style. They are exact copies. Its wrong. No offence to you personally Terri.
Thank you for explaining your opinion further. You make much more sense now rather than telling me to take off my "rose colored glasses." Seems to me that doll manufacturers are constantly copying eachother or the fashion industry. I was a bit surprised at the leash picture but I don't know Nigel's intention. Perhaps I will ask him!
I do not publish readers' links or email addresses. If you wish to contact me or wish me to see something, find me on Facebook and send a FB message. In addition, Blogger is not letting me comment on comments! I'm trying to reconfigure this but I'm at a loss how to do so.
