Yes, Adam doll is wearing a real leather jacket; leather-look pants, gloves and boots are all rock-star worthy! There are several Barbie themed auctions - not all of them are items I'd want in my collection.

ReplyDeleteYes, but much more interesting to look at.
DeleteI would like one of those. He looks great!
ReplyDeleteHe will be very expensive... Maybe 2500$ or more, not for person like me. :(
ReplyDeleteWould love to have adam doll!!!
ReplyDeleteThe chandelier is a little ridiculous, but at least it's saran and not human hair. Then it'd be way gross. :)
ReplyDeleteAdam Lambert "Cannot be resold or re-auctioned" according to the terms. That's pretty strange! Wouldn't it make sense that if the doll is bought for a private collection, it would eventually need to be sold some years down the line? Even if it's in a long long time.. On the other hand it's hard for me to imagine anyone buying it just to resell- would they even be able to make a profit? If the auction closes at $x, why would he sell for $x+y next time around? In 5 years he'll still be one of a kind just as he is today so there's no reason he'd increase in value like some dolls do as they get more scarce. hmm.
I did not know that there was a caveat regarding the Lambert doll. Is that even legal?
