Progress in the New Doll Room

Unpacking and organizing the dolls has been more difficult than packing them. I did not keep all the dolls dressed. Some were only partly dressed and some nude. Anyway, it was time to record more progress and I have done so with a bunch of quick snaps taken during the hurricane yesterday afternoon. We're halfway there.

Here are a few more shots I took this afternoon after unpacking the rest of my FR and many of my Silkstones.

The large showcase for my Tonner 16" dolls is elsewhere in the house.

  1. Love the chorus line of nude Gene/Madra/Cami - they look like they are begging to stay, or maybe just be clothed.

    1. Soon I'll have time to dress them. It takes so long to dress so many dolls.

  2. I love to see a doll room in the unpacking stages. I know it's not fun to be living in, but it's cool for an outsider! Loved these Terri!

  8. Love seeing pics of your collection! Ohh all your Genes have bendy arms & legs, I didn't realize so many did, not that I'm an expert and I keep seeing the huge number of Gene's that were made. I just got my first 2 Genes, Pinup & USO, both straight arms & legs.

    1. Most of my Gene dolls are IT products. The others have been switched to articulated IT bodies.

  9. After seeing your huge collection, I’m quite convinced you love dolls a lot. You had a hard time packing and unpacking all those, that’s for sure. But if you really value them, all the effort and stress are nothing when compared to the experience of seeing them all unpacked and nicely placed on the shelves. I have to ask, though, why aren’t the others dressed?
