  1. Hi Terri, Have you heard anything through the grapevine about a new AG? They are now 4 going on 5 months late on the current one and I haven't heard much.

  2. I would love to have that blonde Poppy. Sigh.

  3. I love fashion royalty! However, all the dolls that have come out this year lack the innovation that I have come to know. Must of the dolls from the convention aren't appealing to me. The Adele giftset will be the only one I think I will be getting. I think FR needs to get back in touch with it's fan base, and start giving us the style and quality we are use to. Maybe I'm just a "Danny Downer". LOL! ^_^

  4. Marc, it seems to me that IT is really (over)extending itself to be all things to many people. In principle it seems good because there are many types of collectors. In the past they have had varying success with the new lines. You have ITBE and Valia on one side of the spectrum and Monograms and Poppy Parker on the other. I think if they can figure it out they may have a super successful company.

  5. This is very true. Just seems to me that so many of the dolls from the regular FR line came out with the same outfit and jewelry, but only in different colors. I guess I'll just have to sit still and be patient in the meanwhile! ^_^

  6. I agree with being unimpressed with what I have seen so far. The Poppys here are cute but some of these dolls are downright hideous. Do people just buy anything because of the FR name?

  7. eeek...Wile I must say that there were a few exceptionally beautiful dolls , there were more misses than ever on this years convention.
The blonde one with black and white print dress adn all green accessories is ALL WRONG, why would you think that making it all matchie was the way to go I don't know but they haven't watched a single fashion show in what 20 years?? ewww...
they obviously tried very hard and failed pretty bad in about 70% of the dolls,.....those shoert dresses and 100 different colors are not CUTE

sorry i end my rant here...

  9. whoah, while I didn't 'love' all the dolls, I surely didn't thing it was a disaster! There are some fabulous dolls here and I think once they are de-boxed and come to life in the hands of the owners in their photos..we will see the full potential of these dolls. Even if not every doll appeals to everyone, at least IT offers its collectors variety of sculpts, skin tones, and body types...never boring to me!

  10. @WilC: Regarding the W Club AG...If you pre-ordered her you will be getting the doll with the new body...unless you don't want the new body.
    That's all I know.
