DeleteWell at least they're fixing the issue. Must be frustrating for them. At least the clothing and hair is top notch, although I do wish they'd experiment with some other sculpts.
DeleteWe'll see. So far I've found this issue on two of my own dolls that I've redressed. The others have not been redressed so I don't know if they have it as well. Bethnal was so bad that I couldn't straighten her legs properly.

ReplyDeleteI was looking at one of my girls' knees the other day (she has the overlap), and I'm wondering if it's just that the material is too soft. If you flatten the flap out, at least in her case, it meets the edge of the thigh piece in what seems to be a proper fashion... but since the material there is too thin to stay rigid, one side or the other gives way. :/ Seems like an engineering issue more than a manufacturing one, if that's the case.
The overlap on Bethnal was very large. There was no way to make it meet the thigh.
