You haven't gotten any comments on this post. I have to say, this attracts me a lot. I love the Numina dolls and own three of them. However, I don't know how to afford the expensive dolls I want, and the conference and travel fees to go to the Sybarite and Numina events. It's a very expensive hobby, and I'm torn. I'd almost rather wait on every event doll and then only buy the event dolls I just love, even if it is at a premium.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is an expensive hobby. The more I see, the more I want. I try to manage my spending by selling. Sometimes it works.

After a lot of deliberation, I signed up for it. Having an event doll swayed me. Sellers seem to want around $900-$1,000 for the dolls, so spending just a bit more (plus hotel/travel) also gives customers an opportunity to meet the artist (for those of us who haven't done that) and see an aspect of the hobby that is new (at least for me). :-) Overall, it seems like a well thought out event.
