2015 W Club Holds First Lottery of the Season

The W Club has opened their new doll selling season with an offering of six ITBE (Integrity Basic Edition) dolls. The lottery is for the right to buy and ends on March 11. It is only open to club members. Each doll will cost $99. plus shipping, handling and tax. Members can enter a ticket for each doll. Multiple memberships give multiple opportunities to win with a separate ticket for each entry.
On to the dolls. Reminder - you can click on pictures to see them full-sized.
Entice - Kesenia Sculpt
Love Roulette - Vanessa 2.0 Sculpt

Dark Side - Anja Sculpt

Audacious - Finley Price (New Sculpt)

My Desire - Isha Sculpt

Buxom - Veronique 1.0 Sculpt

My favorites are the Vanessa and the Isha with Anja a close third. I think if Vanessa and Isha had FR2 bodies, I'd really want them. As it is, I entered for only the Vanessa because even though she has the 2.0 sculpt, she looks very pretty.

I find Buxom, the Veronique sculpt, doesn't look like the Veronique I know. It could be the appearance of a smile or the dark skin tone. Something about her is not Vero.

Kesenia is still  total vampire to me with all those teeth showing. But I do like the design of her lingerie more than all the rest.

The new Finley Price sculpt will appeal to those who like smiley dolls. She can be the arch enemy of Agnes. Her skin tone is listed as FR Black.  The other dolls' skin tones are: Vanessa - Light Honey, Anja - Porcelain ,  Isha,  Kesenia and Veronique - A-Tone.

So what do you all think of these ITBE dolls? Is there value here? Will you be entering the lotteries?

  1. I entered for Vanessa, Isha and Anja- I was tempted by Veronique- she is pretty but not tempting enough. I really don't like Kesenia or Finley. Hopefully if Finley shows up in a say the Jem line, her look won't be so...Barbie?

In general I like the skin color variations and the fact that they went with more detailed lingerie sets instead of the hideous dresses on the ITBE dolls last year. I kind of hope though that I only win one or two, for cost/space reasons...

    1. So true re: hideous ITBE convention dresses. What a difference! The Barbie thought came to my mine, too.

  2. None of these really appeal to me; Anja a little bit for the hair color. I don't want to invest this money in an old style body when I can better use it for a Tulabelle or FR16 I really want. Or Tonner's next fashion doll line!

    1. I totally understand about the old body not being worth buying. I agree.

  3. Hey Terri! I'm wondering about the skintone of that Vanessa. The Color Infusion Gloss dolls that had that skintone had a greenish hue to my eye. I had the Tilda Brisby Gloss doll and tried to put her head on a body that was the same skintone by name, and they didn't match. The promo shots look great, but the skintones don't look like they match. But, I'm not great with colors. The outfits look well made. If I win one, I'm hoping to recoup some of the cost selling the body and outfit on ebay. I put in for Isha and Anja. I don't have any of those sculpts and they seem to be popular with collectors--so even if I don't like them, it's unlikely I'll be stuck with a doll I can't unload. Love the blog! Don

    1. I'd be cautious about all the skin tones. There's no guarantee that anything will match as you know. Buy what you really like as selling these ITBEs is not that easy.

  4. This is my first year in the W Club -- how exciting to get that lottery notification!
I've been dithering -- I'll put in for Anja for sure, but still trying to decide on Vanessa. I love her screening, but I'm not in love with the hair color and I'd be tempted to re-root. I suppose I should just enter and see what happens :)

    1. Sometimes if you win a doll you don't really, really want, there is someone else who will take over the payments. I don't know if the W Club still allows switching of mailing addresses. You could ask. :-)
      Good luck.
Hey..if you don't want Vanessa, email me. I will probably not get picked to buy her (as usual.)

  5. I have to admit that the price point of 100 dollars for a bunch of dolls on the old FR body with lingerie to be ridiculous. They are not really offering much and these are old bodies that i think people could buy for 25 or 30 dollars individually. Why they charge 100 for it is beyond me. It seems like IT is digging out their old left over stock of bodies and sculpts that never made it (i.e scrap) dusting them off and selling them as a new idea (ITBE). But that doesnt change what they are.

I find this Vero so incredibly awful and ugly, there are no words. In fact they are are horrible. And whats with the AA/uber tan/whatever you wanna call it skin tones for these ITBEs? The only ones i liked were Anja and Vanessa - but only their heads so I didnt enter at all since I didnt feel like paying 100 dollars just for a head. I dont like my dolls in lingerie or high end hooker outfits but it seems like a lot of collectors do (see convention Giselle's nee high f_ck me booths). I mean really? Knee high boots with shorts...that screams hooker.
