Thanksgiving Feast™ Barbie® Doll

An email went out to all BC.Com members today announcing the Thanksgiving Feast Barbie Doll which will be available only to members this month. No price was noted. Uh oh.

Wouldn't it be nice if she could actually hold the tray?
This doll reminds me of Maria Therese Bride Silkstone although their coloring is completely different. I don't know what it is about the two of them. She's cute and I love the vintage style of the outfit. I will be getting her. What about you?

  2. It really messes up with me the fact that BC does not ship worlwide... =(

  3. She's $50.00 + 7.95 shipping, which makes me wonder if she is actually a Silkstone doll. That seems rather reasonable for a dressed Silkie w/ accessories.
I think I'll pass on this one. The only things my girls make for dinner are reservations lol

  4. @Marina: It wasn't that long ago that we thought $50 for a Silkie was expensive. Now we think it's reasonable!

  5. @Ana:
I guess you are not a member. That really sucks big time. I wonder if you can get someone who is a member to buy one for you and ship it. If I wasn't buying one for myself I'd do it for you. Do you collect Silkstones?

  6. I so want this doll, but I've never been able to get a club doll due to everything being should out by the time I get home.

I like that she is reasonably price comparing to new Silkstone these days.

  7. I do not think this is a Silkstone doll. As I recall it was mentioned in one of the chats awhile back or it might also have been in a thread responding to a sneak for the doll. I'll see if I can find out for sure.

  8. Now that it's confirmed that this is NOT Silkstone, I wonder how many will accidentally buy her thinking that she is. She looks like a Silkstone.

  9. Honestly, I thought she was a silkie too. If we use our BFC quarterly reward, it's only $30, which is more reasonable.

  10. Hi Terri, nop, I still don't own any Silkstone doll... it has been crossing my mind from time to time though! But I so wish BC would ship worlwide, and would accept international memberships... I bet I would buy things from there very often (I do visit their shop now and then, just as a torture of course *lol*)
