Kingdom Doll Sculpts - So Far

Let's put the argument to rest regarding how many different sculpts KD has used.

This is not about opinion or personal taste.
It's not about one's inability to distinguish between facial features.

These are facts.

2014 - Novantae = Nelson, Brighton, Hadrian and Brunel (the four seasons of the sculpt before she was completely retired)
2014 - Brigantes = Brigantia (our limited edition sculpt)
2015 - Silures = Chaucer and Dauphine (The Paris exclusive doll)
2015 - Dubunni = Eira, she will also be used for Liberty in October. (The Kingdom Doll Event)
2015 - Selgovae = Soon to be released in July as Orbit.

You can see more photos on the Kingdom Doll site.

Thinking about my own collection, all of my Sybarites use the Venus sculpt. I don't think anyone looking at my Sybs would say they look alike in any way. My Fashion Royalty Vanessas have the original sculpt. It never occurred to me that I was buying dolls that looked alike.

We all like different things. I've tried many dolls that I just didn't bond with. I never disliked a doll because I didn't like the company. There was a company I really didn't care for. I have more of their dolls than any other in my collection. There is a company whose owner and employees I adore. I have a bunch of their dolls but rarely buy any now.

I don't take the attitude "Love me; Love my dolls." You don't like them, that's fine. But when someone goes on a campaign to diss a doll I may fight back.

Coming Soon From Kingdom Doll: Brunel

The next gorgeous doll from Kingdom is soon to be released.

The announcement:
We would like to officially introduce you all to Brunel the last doll to use the Novantae head sculpt. This is just a sneak peek at our NEW KD girl all her information will be coming in the next few weeks. So many of you have fallen in love with Novantae this year and you are probably wondering why we are retiring her after only four dolls. This head sculpt was only ever intended to represent the four seasons, Brunel representing Autumn/Fall.
Do not worry as Kingdom Doll is only getting started, with many plans already underway to delight you moving forward into the future!

An excerpt from the website:

Our debut doll Nelson (using the Novantae head sculpt)

Nelson is a 16 inch resin fashion doll, with 22 points of articulation. Her resin, which is of the highest quality, is a classic "English Rose" which was exclusively created for Kingdom Doll. She has pale ice blue eyes and a soft make-up palette of peach, muted gold and grey. Her hair, a hard cap wig, has long soft waves of a variegated pale golden blonde.
Nelson is a dressed doll limited to just 60 pieces world wide. She features a faux leather jacket inspired by the Spencer jackets of the 1790's and a strapless empire line gown made from silk chiffon with beautiful gold braid trimmed bodice. Black calf length square toed boots with gold buckle accents, a pair tap shorts and hose complete the outfit.
A stand and a complimentary pair of pose hands are also included!
