Dolls look very nice. I'd order A La Maison if I liked Victoire's body. Her casual outfit is quite nice.
Dania Zarr looks very sophisticated. I love the handbag and shoes. And, if her hair actually turns out looking like the promo, she's going to be a stunning doll.

What do you think about this year-end wave?

  1. I love all the new dolls. I did put an order in for À La Maison. Love that she has her hair down. I have fingers crossed for Holiday Poppy and I preordered Dania too. So many dolls........LeeAnn

  2. I ordered A La Maison! I love that shirt (or is it a bustier/blouse?) she's wearing, and her hair looks pretty long. Plus she seemed so inexpensive.

I thought Dania was really pretty and I love her black hair and purse, but her outfit seemed a little boring so I passed. I know I could re-dress her, but $130 seems like a bit too much for a re-dress.

    1. She's very tempting...if I weren't in to the 16" resin BJDs, I might order her. I just love so many different dolls. I want almost all of them. Sigh.

    2. Like you Terri - all my dolly money and space is taken up with the 16" brigade... however I caved and entered the Poppy lottery as I LOVE anything Christmas related LOL!

  3. Why are all these dolls coming out at the same time? And this isn't even all of them. It makes a lot more sense to spread them out during the year instead of coming out with all of them at the end of the year when people are already dolly fund limited. I don't understand the logic.

  4. It does seem strange that so many dolls are available at the same time, especially just after the convention.

Dania is my favorite, but I agree that the dress is boring. The accessories and her hairstyle make up for it. Her eye color is quite dramatic, too. She's a possibility.

À La Maison's top is a standout. Victoire is a favorite, but this one's hair seems jarring to me for some reason. Départ Pour L'Orient looks too similar to other Victoires, but I'll look for the outfit.

That Poppy outfit is just classic Barbie. Totally love it!

  6. I haven't seen a Victoire doll in person -- Terri, what are your thoughts on the body & why it's not for you?

    1. I like the FR2 body. The Victoire body isn't as articulated or as tall.
